I just found out today that it's not safe to vaccinate a pregnant cat.....and last week my pregnant cat received her rabies, feline panleukopenia, feline rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus and feline chlamydia shots....with the vet fully aware that she was pregnant. Today I spoke with another vet and they told me to contact my vet and get the manufactioners name and contact them as to what the possiable birth defects could be....I'v been trying to contact my vet all day with no luck....so I'm really worried...I'm very excited about these kittens coming so I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any insight to this or if someone else has gone through this. (I am continuing to try to reach my vet.)

Maybe the vet is trying to curb the pet overpopulation. Did you know that at my local shelter there are 67!! kittens waiting to be adopted? Do you know how many of those are going to have to be euthanized because of irresponsible pet owners like you?!

Have vet contact the manufacturer. There might not be as much risk as you think.
Next...which I hope there will not be...HAVE CAT TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE IT GETS PREGNANT!!!!!!!
