i have already gone to pain management and that was a waste of time and money--i truly have tried everything---epidurals,pain blocks, surgery, cryo!the medical field is so messed up,with all the drug seeking people out there that when you are truly in pain and have a real problem the doctors WILL NOT HELP--for fear of being --looked into for prescribing pain meds!!the highest strength med i was ever on was lortab5/500.and i had this constant headache and pain in my neck for 3 years prior to surgery on my neck !!and i continued to hold a full time job during all this--if i had was not truly in pain ---i sure would not have put myself thru all of this------i am willing to try anything that might help with the pain--i feel like my husband is so feed up with all this, that he is ready too pack up and leave [who could blame him]

It's all a matter of managing the pain. There are places that teach Pain Management. There may never be a time when you won't be in some pain, so it's important that you learn to manage the pain. It's not only a physical thing, but mental as well. They'll teach you how to deal with it, and how to not let it run your life. Good luck.

If you have continual and constant pain that is not normal. Or it wasn't for me. If you wake up with a back ache because you have laid too long on your back, that is normal. You will always have a weak back and staying flat of your back for a long time will bring on pain also. I am fine as long as I get up and walk around some and do not lay on back over 5 hours.
I had a lumbar laminectomy 28 years ago. I am a Christian. I rebuke pain at the onset. Yes, I know I am crazy, but I do not let pain in my body. The Lord honors my refusal. I come into agreement that no weapon formed against me will prosper. Pain is a weapon from the devil.
