Could over conditioning your hair or leaving the conditioner in for too long be a possible reason for hair falling out?

Over-Conditioning Can Leave Hair Limp, Greasy, Too Soft, Dull Or Even Too Stiff Or Dry Depending On The Type Of 'Over-Conditioning' You Do. But It Will Not Cause Your Hair To Fall-Out. You May Be Seeing Hairs That Get 'Stuck Together' By Residue That Look Like Clumps Of Hair.

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

Insha'Allah, didn't you ask this or a very similar question the other day? I answered it as did others, and one of the other answers was excellent, with citation and medical terminology, etc. (I learned from that one!).

Insha'Allah, no, hair loss would happen if you were burning your hair with a bleach or a straightener or a harsh dye. Conditioner should not do that.

I would advise you to seek a consultation from a qualified medical professional as there are many possibilities and some of them should not be toyed with.

Insha'Allah, as always, I will keep you in my daily prayers.

Ma'a salaam.

Assalamualaikum Lavendar! Eid Mubarak!!

Not sure about your question, my aunt used to leave conditioner in her hair to soften it and try to straighten it. She did this for years. Didnt work. Her hair never fell out.

Have your thyroid tested, that could make your hair fall out. if the hormone levels are outa whack.

Stress will do it also.

Probably. It is bad to use to much, just a dime size is the right amount. Leave it in while washing the rest of your body (a perfect amount of time) and then wash it all out. I recommend using all Redken hair products. They actually work rather than only make your hair smell good or cause build up.

I don't think it will cause hair falling out.
As long as you rinse your hair thoroughly after the conditioning.
