If you believe that you are a very sad and irresponsible person.
Why would you want to help destroy that which you believe is gods creation. Very hypocritical.

Because Jesus is not on the 3:30 bus. If you believe the Christian Bible, we are pretty much "caretakers" of creation according to Genesis and the idea that we have an inheritance (at least of obligation) through Adam. From a purely pragmatic view, I would suggest that (a) everyone who has predicted Jesus' return as been wrong, and (b) there are reasons to doubt that we can really fight the trend of the planet warming or cooling itself...

I hope you're being sarcastic, and only imitating the people who seriously think this way - an alarming number of grown adults here in 21st century America.

Why worry about global warming? Why do anything about it? Why pry the Jesus™ Fish off my Hummer and stick it on a hybrid Civic, when Jesus himself is due any day now to beat up all the people who annoy me with their difference of opinion?

Of course, then when the Rapture DOESN'T happen - and it won't - you've left your children to inherit a world that's going to look more and more like the traditional depiction of Hell.

Jesus has been "coming any day now" for the last 2000 yrs so what's another 1000, honestly? It's similar to Peter and the Wolf in that most people aren't sitting on pins and needles every single day like they did in the Dark Ages and Renaissance where they believed that life wasn't worth living while they were alive in favor of waiting for God to come and save them from the evils of the world. In this day and age, most will believe it when they see it instead if and when it decides to occur..Modern society isn't known for their patience, which is something that Christianity stresses that folks need to have.

Why do you people if you really, really believe that paradise is soooo great, just die. I mean not suicide, become cops, or firefighters or some other highly dangerous, but good job. You are highly likely to die and the good work you did will surely get you to the front of Jesus line!

Then you can leave all us heathens to worry about pesky Climate Change etc etc. Go on. Become, ooh drug testers, join the army, there are so many things you can do to make your trip to see your god so much faster!

Hurry!

we still have yet to find somebody who fits the description of the anti christ. besides when is he coming? 2012?

the end of the earth has been predicted so many times its not even funny anymore. it ended in 1975, in 2000, its gonna again in 2012, and its probably gonna end some more after that

trust me, when the jews actually build their stupid temple and when we find somebody who can fit the role of the anti christ, we'll have something to worry about. besides, global warming is real, god might or might not be.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm just riding it out until God decides to take me, however He will.
Sure, I hate to see the changes, and the destruction of things, but we have all been forewarned of the end, and the beginning of the end.
This whole world will pass away with a great noise, and all will be burned up. Why set my heart on what isn't going to last?

No man knows the day. It could happen tomorrow, or a thousand years from now. Shouldn't we take care of the earth in the meantime?

No one knows the day or time when Jesus will return.
You are not serious. This is another one of those "mock the Christians" questions.

And when He does come, he's going to be pretty angry with the likes of you for the lousy job of stewardship over the natural world you've done. Frankly, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes!
