I don't agree with christianity either but why all the catholic bashing lately?

what makes the rest of christianity so much better?

CJ - I was taught the same thing in The church of christ. They both teach fear, where the catholic church scares you with demons and satan, the church of christ scares you with your life crumbling out from under you and of course hell

Simple.

If Catholics have it right ... then everyone else doesn't.

Worse yet ... everybody else will have a lot of explaining to do.

Its a lot like whistling while walking through a graveyard, at night.

The sound tells everyone you're quite comfortable ... but the reality is... you're scared almost to death.

For your question, we get bashed all the time. I used to be a Protestant but am now Catholic. I used to think it was tough as a Protestant - the daily struggle of living the faith as best you knew how in a crazy world like this - but I never IMAGINED how tough it can be to be a Catholic. We get it from all sides, especially from our own non-Catholic Christian brothers and sisters.

I will say that I don't regret it one bit. The Church changed my life. Even though most days it's hard, especially with my own weaknesses and sins, there is a peace and a joy, even if only silent at times, that some days I can't express in words. The trials are there, but they only help to make me stronger.
