Over time man has created many Gods for one reason or another, but mainly because he did not want to die or have the ones he loves die. He then has tried to kill those who worship the same God in a different way. Man created God. The church and God bring a positive benefit to our lives, but he only exist in out spirit and mind. Over 2000 years ago, it was thought that we are immortal through our children.

Perhaps each of the ten plagues was presented to demonstrate the ineffectiveness of each of the Egyptian ten god’s. Osiris was the Egyptian god of the Nile. The Egyptians believed that Osiris gave life and sustenance to the people because the Nile itself was the vital life-source of ancient Egypt. The first plague was Blood. The waters of the Nile turned to the symbol of death, blood. That was a sign of G-d’s superiority over Osiris.

AMEN !
The name of the Pharaoh at the time of the Exodus was Amenophis, more commonly called Amenhotep. His son and successor, Akenaten, did away with the Egyptian collection of gods and taught a monotheistic religion throughout the land. That God was the SUN!

You questions is complex, yet simple if one listen to the Spirit of intention of Being.

God is a portion of mankind. God, elected to expereince the physical life we live in today and a portion of him became "man" and is shown as a story regarding Adam and Eve; a religious interpretation.

Your reasons for livng are to Experience ALL things and Creat ALL things, you are Gods in the making.

Gods purpose, a limited view, very limited view...are to creat and also experience.

The heavens are endless, the realms, endless, realities...endless...

In God, all things begin and are-experienced. Time does not exist within God as all things begin and end there; time has no function there. My point, "eternity" may as well be a second.

What might fulfill God? The above, consistent Experiencing and creating.

This is my limited view.

Good question, it would be difficult to give a definitive answer because although we have some familiarity with God He is still mystery, but God has an infinitely complete nature that cannot be added to or subtracted from,His own glorious nature is all fulfilling and it is hard for us to peg this fact down with our finite mind.
His purpose for us is to be eternally happy with Him and this happiness too is beyond our imagination and scope.

Now that is an excellent question, what is God's purpose or the reason he exist?

To answer this question would be arrogant....to believe we know what god's purpose for being is.....granted, it's also arrogant to believe that we know what the divine wants us to do with our lives....if anything at all.

God is a child with an ant farm....there is no purpose, or even real interest.

"The Greatest thing you'll ever learn/
Is just to love, and be loved in return" Nat King Cole; "Nature Boy"

Love can overcome or incite anger (injustice or frustration)
And anger can give way to love (parent/adolescent)

Love can overcome or incite sadness/grief
And sadness/grief can bring people closer together

Love can make you happy
But you don't HAVE to be happy to love

Love can drive you insane
And you can be insane to love someone, but you do...

Love can cause fear (e.g. of rejection or of the magnitude of an undertaking in its name)
But fear can highlight love (e.g. "I'm glad I've got you, please don't go")

Love is the root of desire

Love is not present in greed

Love is not present in selfishness (except for narcistic love)

True love is not present in bargains

People of all races are capable of love

People with any mental or physical disability can still love and be loved

Even dead people are loved, and death can't defeat love

Strong, great, forceful, universal, serious, unconditional, knowledgable love really frightens trully bad people because it's impossible to fight

Love in numbers can change and imprint on the world (Christmas truce and what it stood for; the Bible; the Christmas Tsunami in Shrilanka, Bob Geldoff and the concert for famine relief)

Love doesn't cost money or resources and it never runs out, and it lasts forever.

I believe the meaning of life is to learn about love and give real, wholesome love to people and recieve love in return.

To make people who don't worship him the correct way miserable, of course!

And also to snoop into everyone's bedrooms to make sure they're doing it right. He's the big voyeur in the sky.
