1) The police have always been trained in the military style. It is a papramilitary orgaization
2) In that training they are not told everyone is the enemy, quite the opposite, so I'm not sure what left wing propaganda kool aid web site you got that info from.If you are not a law breaker, than you have nothing to worry about.

OF course we are, that's been the plan since day 1
Some day some one has to rule the whole world, little countries can not and will not survive forever.

The police are trained in hardcore tactics, my GF works in a building right in front of there training facility and i drive past there academy everyday to work.

Police are becoming more brutal, more offensive, more abusive, over stepping there bounds more, and now with all the camera phones were bringing it to light.

The revolution will come, and soon, anyone who thinks otherwise is a sheep and will be the 1st to enter the governments 200+ newly constructed or renovated concentration camps, do some research, were on a fast track to a dictatorship.

USA has more incarcerated citizens per ca-pita then any country on earth, and now we have 200+ new or newly renovated prison camps to put all us freedom fighters into as soon as they declare marshal law and we fight back.

Get your guns and get ready to fight for you and yours, cause uncle sam is coming, and this time he wants more then your illegal income taxes.

US citizens such as Timothy McVeigh are considered enemies. As far as citizens in general, I suggest you provide a link so that information can be confirmed.

There are some departments that receive training under Homeland Security grants, to defend against terrorism, both foreign and domestic. This is defensive training only, and does not constitute a police state.

I encourage you to provide references and links if you have ANY information that says differently.

they started getting trained 'military style' when unproductive members of society (aka murders, rapist, pedophile) started carying AK47s. Yes, if you are an unproductive, non-law abiding citizen you are the police force's enemy, as thier job is to protect law abiding citezens. And illegals who wish to reap the benifits of our country without the responsibility invovled.

if you think about it, there is a very fine minute line between today's trigger happy/keyboard happy cops, with no prior military experience first and the felons locked away in our prisons.i feel a new law should be innacted thatall police officers nationally either have served in the marines or army or be a member of the national guard or reserve or hence, resign from their job

At this point, civilians should count on the police as a service they pay for, being taxpayers, but keep their eyes wide open and their cell phones with video cameras.

That's not correct, I'm a police instructor. There's a standard lesson plans for police training and none of them every mention that citizens are considered the ENEMY.

If you want move info, I would visit a Police Academy.

Haven't experienced that, myself. Doesn't apply to the state of Texas or Alaska. I know that for sure. Which state do you live in that the police consider you an enemy???

Military-style tactics help keep officers alive when dealing with increased threats.

Officers are under no obligation to purposefully put themselves into harm's way when dealing with such threats. They have every right to protect themselves...and, if military-style tactics help them go home at night to their loved ones after a shift, I applaud them.
