Of course not. Anyone who still believes that Iraq was a threat to us is buying the propaganda that the White House is too ashamed to peddle anymore.
It was in fact the most stable counter weight to the surrounding countries where radical Islam is brewed and terrorism fomented.
As to the person who asked if we are forced to speak Arabic or become Muslim.. can you really say that before we invaded Iraq that was a concern here? No way in hell was it. This war actually created more terrorists and pushed more young arabic men into jihad after seeing us invade a nominal Muslim country. People don't seem to understand Iraq was pretty much a secular country. Saddam claimed religion out of convenience like every single American politicina does.

You have to understand, we're supposed to have been brainwashed into thinking that "fighting the terrorists abroad will keep them away from home". Mindless sheep will believe a crooked shepherd no matter how ridiculous his motives are. As for myself, I'm not entirely convinced. If we are truly fighting terrorism abroad, then basically every country with a large Anti-American following (read: the rest of the world) will have to be invaded. That will be quite a military campaign, indeed. If we stay in the confines of Muslim nations in the Middle East, then where do we stop? After Iraq, do we invade Iran? And then Saudi Arabia? And then Kwait? And then Qatar? Thinking about it, the fight in Iraq is actually hampering our freedom. Shouldn't the troops be focusing on catching Bin Laden? Was he not the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks? Hussein is by no means a nice guy, but there's no connection between him and the planning of the attacks or the funding of Al Qaeda.

Fighting in Iraq is protecting your right to drive a car. If the bad guys take over the oil fields they could destroy our economy by running the price of a barrel of oil higher than it is already. It won't matter if you have a SUV or a riding mower we will all end up riding bikes

It is placing your freedom in jeopardy. More countries hate the US since this useless war began than ever. It lost Tony Blair his job and probably shot any chance of a Republican winning the US presidency next year - which might be the ONLY good thing to come of it.

Yes it is. But you know that because all of your posts show your support of the war. We get it already. You love the war. You can stop posting now.

No it is not protecting your freedom. It is placing all our military strength in one spot. It is causing people world wide to hate us. And it is diverting economic resources that would better be used for the health and education of America's future.

I know you've made your mind up about this already, so no need to even answer. The occupation of Iraq does keep our military busy, and it certainly makes sure they work for every penny of the pittance of a paycheck they receive for serving.

Yes, it's helping to dispose of a radical branch of Islam, of which al Quida was a part of, giving you the freedom to live peacefully in this country without fear of terrorist attacks. I love how everyone that supports this war is a sheep. Maybe you people are all sheep for championing a cause of which you haven't even considered the alternatives. I don't like Bush, but what would be the proper way to handle the situation in your opinion? Oh, look at me, I'm so cool because I'm a psuedo political activist because I oppose the war. Form your own opinion, sheep.
