I am getting married in the Vallley of Fire (Outside of Las Vegas) in January. I am having a hard time finding a place to do both. We will have our reception at home in Phoenix but we still want to have a nice dinner and dancing while we are there and will have younsters with us. Your help is appreciated.

Just to be clear... I want the adults and the kids to be in the same resturant that ALSO has dancing... not just a family friendly hotel, an actual place to eat and dance in or out of a hotel.

Circus Circus is a family place, so is Excalibur.

My husband and I just got married at the Valley of Fire last Friday. You're going to love it! The trip takes about 45 minutes from the strip. Since you guys need a family friendly place, I would suggest looking somewhere off of the strip. In my experience, even the places that call themselves family friendly are surrounded by far too many risque things.
We went to McMullan's Irish pub, and had a private room with great food. The adults were able to go out and hang out in the pub and dance, and you can always dance in your own room, too. I would suggest looking for a place that is more like a restaurant/pub where you can have at least a semi-private room like we did. Otherwise, it's going to be hard to find a place where you can really dance that will still be acceptable for children.

I'm not sure you will find a restaurant that has dining and dancing for all ages in Vegas. I would suggest instead having a small reception with dinner and dancing either in the Valley of Fire or at one of the hotels. Otherwise you can go out to dinner, but probably not dancing. Also you may want to ask your ceremony site and see if they have any suggestions.

My cousin got married in a lodge in Mt. Charleston. There was eating, dancing, kids, and adults.
