Anyone know where I can find a boy scout canteen?

My husband had a boy scout canteen that he really liked, but it got lost last year. It was plastic with a canvas cover with a strap that snapped over the plastic canteen. I wanted to get him a new one for christmas, but can't find one anywhere! All they have on the Boy Scouts Of America web sight is cub scout canteens, and those are too small. This one help probably 2 liters. So if you know of where I can get one, or one like it, let me know!

This information came from my local Boy Scouts of America Counsel. The 80 ounce Canteen is available but they didn't have a website address only the toll-free number listed....

The Scouts DO sell a plastic canteen with a dark blue canvas cover with the BSA logo on it (not the Cubbie one).

BUT, I don't see it on scoutstuff.org.

Try local stores and the local Scout office/store.

Army surplus stores have what they call a 2 quart bladder. It's a plastic bag type canteen that has an insulated nylon case and a nylon strap. It also has web belt clips. I think I got mine for about $25.

I would try a surplus store, Their is one is Santa clare just north of Valley Faire. I can not remember the name though.

Try an Army Surplus store... they have all kinds of neat gadgets there!

EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports), REO, or similar Outdoor stores will have them.
