I would rather have the opinions of people in or that have been in the military. What are you, the hall monitor?

Any pistol can stop you. It all depends where you hit them. you hit em in the head or heart, their done. That is why the Marines are taught two taps to the chest and one to the head. Just to make sure.
Kick a** weapon too

Only the bullet knows for sure. If you hit them anywhere you are going to get their attention. The likely hood is if you aim center of mass with a bullet you will stop them cold unless they are wearing body armor. That is what the other five bullets are there for.
The police used the S and W 38 for half a century with pretty lethal effects. Bigger bullets do not necessarily equate to higher kill rates. The most lethal gun out there is the .22.

depends where you hit, of course there are a lot of questions like fact it is more likely that your gun will be used against you or a accidental shooting to occur if you keep a loaded firearm in your house. Just be noisy and say you’re getting the gun and listen to the intruder jump out the way he came in. Most home break-ins do not involve firearms as that would be armed burglary and carries a much greater sentence and cops see gun and sometimes start shooting as they are scared in that situation as well.

I think that the bottom Line should be when someone breaks into your house, how many times can you shoot them to stop them. Basically if someone is in your home unlawfully then depending on what state you are in then you can shoot them as many times as necessary to stop the threat that they pose to you and your family. Just remember that if you are going to shoot anyone aim to kill. In most cases of self defence shootings during home invasions it works out better for the home owner to shoot the perpetrator until they are dead. But that does not mean to do it execute style. It just means that you should "keep shooting them until they pose no threat to you or your family".... bottom line once you start shooting don't stop until you are out of bullets.

Yes it will, unless the are high on something. Wild Bill Hickok said always aim for the belly, it will knock the wind out of them and make them drop anything they are holding.

Depends on where you hit them, head shot yes, but you should have some fun with them and go for the knees first.
