i am in the middle of looking for a plasma screen tv for my wall. i can only put it on the wall that has the radiator on it. Would the heat from the radiator mess up the controls on the tv? I would have the tv about half a metre away from the radiator.

If you look carefully at any major electronics owner's manual you will see that the manufacturer states ... Keep away from heat generating sources. Plasma screen TV's are notorious heat generators themselves and having another heat source below it could cause it to overhead. This would NOT be covered under your warranty since you installed it in an area not recommeded by the manufacturer.
