The USA government flies Iraqi families to the USA to help family members who are in USA hospitals. Why not help Americans?

I'm confused, if he was from MI why was his funeral and burial in CA?
And to the family I believe the proper response would have been "thank you" they flew out 2 family members. I personally dont believe the military should have been responsible for that either.

until now i'd never heard of the army offering to fly family members to the place of a funeral...unless they have it in writing they should of made sure they had a back up plan..not to sound mean but when dealing with the government it's always best to have a back up plan
