yea you have to go air force...you are under contract to the air force for a few years...then i guess you could resign your commission from the air force and go guard...not sure why someone would want to do that but....

You owe the Air Force 5 years active duty time upon graduation.

Academy Grads incur an ACTIVE DUTY commitment of no less than 5 years. after that, they can choose to go reserves or Guard if they wish.

You can after you do your 5 year committment active duty.
