Or if you don't like hot dogs, just say that and your religion.

Not much to the theory, only that atheists would have more practical toppings (every day condiments), while those with various religions would use more exotic toppings. I wanted to see if there was any common traits among them.
Also, I was really expecting those who practice zen and buddhism to have one with everything.

Non-denominational Christian.
If it goes in a bun, it has to be cooked on a grill and the condiments I choose are mustard and onions.
If I am not grilling, I cut the hot dog down the middle and cook it in a pan (both sides) and put cheese on the top after I flip it the third time. I usualy add other sides when I have a hot dog, from the grill, or from the pan.

I am a Rhode Island Episcopalian
I prefer all beef bun-sized hot dogs grilled out of doors,
served on a New England style bun (the kind without a crust on the sides) which has been lightly grilled in butter, and topped with sweet pepper relish.
Believe it or not, this is ordinary in southern New England.
I don't know about your hypothesis to be tested, but this is a really great quetion provoking interesting answers!

lol! I was waiting to see what the correlation between the two were. Anyway, I'm a Christian and prefer my hot dogs to be grilled, in a bun and with lots of ketchup. However, that's if I'm in the mood to eat a hot dog. I'm a random selective vegetarian...meaning sometimes I have trouble eating meat whereas other times it doesn't bother me at all. Yes, I'm odd I know =)
EDIT: DUDE! Who the heck is giving everyone a thumbs down? LAME!

No religion/belief.
First, it needs to be a quality hot dog like Nathan's or Sabrett's, none of these Ball Park filler dogs! Then the best way is with cheese - just cheese, preferably the cheddarsauce style. Of course, a quality bun, potato roll or Italian style, toasted with butter, completes the package.

Catholic with everything including hot peppers. Maybe this is fitting because some say Catholicism has too much "stuff" for their taste.
My wife is a better Catholic than I am. Depending on her mood she either gets ketchup only or ketchup and mustard.
Ketchup on a hot dog is wrong on so many levels but what can I do? I love her.

i don't believe in Associating myself with people that are weak minded. I don't have a religion. I don't have to be baptist, or catholic. i have my own beliefs and views on life and God. not pressed or forced upon me by anyone. I am a christian and i believe in god. and if I'm wrong in the end and there is no god. which i believe there will be. Am i worse or better off. i will take the Criticism for it now. I don't mind. But i pray for people that are lost and people that need help. Because that shows that I'm looking out for my fellow man. and i actually care. Regardless if I'm right or wrong.
dude i freaking love chili dogs with cheese, sauerkraut, and onions.
Love ya bud
