Yes, even if you never go into the field you studied, the process teaches you to think differently, critically analyze and writes upon the slate of your soul which changes you as a person.

Education is just another tool that makes your future easier for you. Now, it is not everything you need to be successful, because many billionaires are college drop-outs( Bill Gates), or dont even have high school diploma.
Long story short: Being educated means being book smart, having street smart what takes you to success levels.
And if you can combine both there you go.

Education is good. I do not know what deeds are you talking about. It is always good to have education so that you can succeed in community. Something to fall back on in your life. Have a good job and be a good family person.
