I have no other offences. This one would be around 5 years ago. A huge company is performing a background check, just want to know if this is going to show. It is an investment firm.

Yes it does. It takes 7 years for it to come off your record. It may not affect you unless you are trying to get a driving job. Some companies only go back five years. I would be honest tell them up front so I would have a chance to explain a little. If you don't you are just a application not a person they have met and talked to. try and be honest and see what happens. What do you have to lose if it is going to affect your job anyways???????

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://tinyurl.im/aH3WB

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

I just got a Dui a few months ago and I actually lost my job because of it . I worked at an assisted living facility and it required Finger Printing before I was hired. 3 months after my conviction Licensing sent a letter to My job saying the state madated I was no longer eligible for employment there. It will show up on your background but as a mistameanor. As long as you let them know on the application. And you are not required to drive... work with the elderly.. kids ...ect.. You should still be ok for hire. Its such a pain. Good luck.

I'm not 100% sure, but my uncle had a DUI and a couple other offences on his record, but after the DUI he striaghtened u for 3 years but couldnt get hired because everything stays on your Criminal record, Because it was 5 years ago, and it is your only offence, they might overlook it, but all depends on the firm.

It shows up on a criminal background check, but some criminal background checks (like for employers) only check for felonies, and DUIs can be misdemanors. I used to work for a company (where you worked with kids for gods sake!) where they only REALLY checked for felonies, and misdemeanors were ignored. So it's a tossup.

The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://fullbackgroundcheck.info/quickly-402.html that has been around since 1999.

If I recall correctly they have two options:

1. $19 and you get only one report.

2. $39 and you get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.

Yes it is going to show up. Go to the HR people and explain it right now, do not lie, lying is grounds for termination. Considering how long ago it happened and that fact that a lot of people have a DUI, you would be surprised.

I think it depends what it was actually charged as. I know sometimes if it is first time, they will plead down to something lesser. Also all the stuff I had on my record in Pennsylvania does not show up on the records checks I get here in New Mexico. I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.
