I have been having this dream for years now. I walk up on this big white house with tall columns on the front porch. You know the type; southern style with a big porch. There are steps leading from the sidewalk up to the front door. The house seems to be on a hill. Sometimes when I walk inside the rooms are big and inviting and familiar. Most of the time when I walk inside though, I get lost in a maze of tunnels and dark hallways. I always end up stumbling around in the dark through these long tunnels and wake up before I figure out where I am or whose house this belongs to. Even stranger is that sometimes I don't even walk up to the house. My dream simply begins with me in the middle of those long maze like tunnels inside of the walls of the house. Although I might want out of the tunnels and not know which way to turn, somehow I always feel like I am in a familiar place.
What does this mean?

Homes denote the structure and well being of our life, large newer well built opposed to small, shabby falling down. Maze is of course an obstacle dream. If you found your way out or were not worried by the maze in your dream you can expect to solve your problems with a minimum of effort; however, if you were lost or frightened in your dream, you can expect to be frustrated by some puzzling opposition and a change of direction might be advisable. Always pay attention or try to remember the STRUCTURE of homes or where you live.xx

I am definately Big city. I was born and raised in the city and i dont know if i could handle a small town. I know it would be alot different, but then again, the upside would be that everyone would know each other and probably care more about each other than in the city. Theres always something going on here and plenty of stuff to do.

I've been told that all dreams are reflections of things going on in your own life. When you dream of inviting and familiar rooms, your life is going well. When you dream of mazes and tunnels and darkness, that means there is confusion and chaos in your life.

Wow, sounds alot like my dream house, sometimes I will turn down a hallway and find a whole city block of little shops and junk down there. I wind up there often, and have always just kind of viewed it as exploring various nooks and crannies of my subconscious, there is alot of information stored there to look at. I am comfortable there, because I go there so often, to me it is a cool place to explore, and maybe because I have given it a definition of sorts to explain it to my self. It feels familiar to you, because it, and every thing in it comes from you.......

One day you will be president, but you must start by becoming mayor in a small town. Once you become president you will realize that you just want to get out and go back to your real home.
