I gave my son corn at this age. Sometimes some of it shows up in their diaper, but it is not harmful to them. AT age 2 my son was eating the corn off the cob.

That sounds like an old wive's tale...of course tolders can eat corn! Gerber even makes freeze dried corn in a bag as a snack for toddlers! My 19 month old could eat half a cob of corn at a time if I let him...yea he poops it all out, but so do adults.

She is right it doesnt digest well but if you think about it does it for you? No it doesnt....corn is healthy and I feed it to my 2 yr old all the time. If the doc tells you no then thats that. If he seems fine eating it then let him.

Just cause it passes through slightly undigested doesn't mean it's harmful. Flax seeds are the same way. If it doesn't upset his tummy then I don't see a problem You could also give him the creamed corn around your family members so they don't bug ya!

why would he digest corn differently that say broccoli?? makes no sence to me. corn will look the same in his stool as it does an adults, if he is fine eating and pooping it, then their shouldnt be a problem i dont think. talk to your doctor to find out forsure if you are concerned

They usually don't chew it properly so it makes it harder to digest..Just don't give him a ton of it..It comes out the same way it went in, so not a big deal...

Have you been feeding them table scraps? They won't go back to their kibble.
