There is more to fitting a bike than picking one with the correct stand-over height. Have a local bike shop fit you to a bike, even if you are not going to buy it there. Don't feel too badly for them. You will be back there to buy things like tires, tubes, accessories, clothing, etc.

I agree with going to a bike shop. Let them do the work then go any buy the bike you want online! Service of a shop, price of the net aka win-win

Having sat down for ages and thought about it - Carols right!!!! The taller you are the bigger frame you will need!

I don't think I am going to answer these frame size questions again! - They come up so often and the information is readily available!

Go to a bike shop - get sized up and 'Hey Presto'! - job done

go to a bike shop and ask someone who works there to size you. Im about 5 foot 6 and i ride a 52cm to a 53cm or a 17 or 16.5 mountain bike

Stand with legs about 18-24 inches apart at the feet. Measure from floor to crotch and subtract 1 inch.

It goes on your height the taller you are the larger the frame.
