Romans 3:4, "...let God be true, but every man a liar". When anything contradicts the Word of God, believe God.

This is not a message from the Bible. On the other hand, the Bible talks about what is truth and what is a lie. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Every person must get gut honest with him or her own self in order to become whole by saving grace. That is a holy process that only comes through the Cross and examination of one s true self through the word of the living God. This takes courage. Pride will always get in the way of being gut honest before God.

Sorry, but that is a line from Shakespeare's Hamlet, Act 1 Scene 3, not the Bible. Polonius is speaking to his son Laertes, giving him advise before he leaves home.
So you will not find it in the Bible.

This is in Hamlet. Polonius is speaking to Laertes nervously, offering a battery of advice before his son leaves. As a point of fact, the Bible speaks AGAINST following your own moral compass.

You're thinking Shakespeare's "Hamlet" :)
There are many things within the Bible that mean about the same thing, but, not exact quote.

William Shakespeare said it. But is commonly mistaken to be a verse out of the bible.

”This above all: to thine ownself be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
