(1 Corinthians 5:9-13) 9 In my letter I wrote YOU to quit mixing in company with fornicators, 10 not [meaning] entirely with the fornicators of this world or the greedy persons and extortioners or idolaters. Otherwise, YOU would actually have to get out of the world. 11 But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. 12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do YOU not judge those inside, 13 while God judges those outside? “Remove the wicked [man] from among yourselves.”
Why did he say to remove the one who is not living as a christian from the congregation?

well this is WHY.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) . . .What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were. . . .
so If a person is PRACTICING any of these things he cannot be a member of the congregation for the good of the rest of the congregation & to shame that one to repent & return.
Look at the rotteness in most of christendom's churches for allowing these things;
But there is ONE Christian Congregation that does do this As Jehovah's Christian Witnesses, such people are expelled if they wish to live like that
We don't like to have to do that , but its God's command for the good of all

I think there is a misunderstanding here. The scripture is not requiring people to follow all Bible commands perfectly. It is acknowledging Christians can be contaminated by one person openly practicing wrongdoing. "He is doing this and that and nothing happens to him. Why should I not be able to do this too?"
You then have a congregation behaving just like the lawless nations. Bible requirements are there for a reason. To be worshipers of the true God, Jehovah. His standards call for a clean, pure worship, undefiled by loose moral standards of the world. Such people will clearly not get to be a part of God's Kingdom or get any benefits from it.

well the KJV is better but we should tell sinners about God and not fellowship with them.
1 Corinthians 5:9-13
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
tell the sinners about Jesus and let them decide if they want hell or not.

THOSE IN THE WORD LIVE BY THE WORD
TURN ALL OVER TO GOD [ Matt.10:34-38; John 17:1-26; World or family ]:
2Tim.3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

I think its more because the church of Corinth itself was immoral and the Christians in that church needed a pure environment to grow. Like if you want to grow a plant you have to get rid of all the weeds and if the weeds are are around too early the plant will die but if you keep it in a pure environment when it starts growing it will be strong and when its planted among other plants it will still flourish because it had a good beginning. Its the same with the church if there were evil people or wicked people to begin with the church would never grow and they would all be sidetracked to begin with but if they were in a pure environment to begin with and were introduced when they were more biblically literate it would be able to figure out whats right or wrong. Make sense?
And its also your duty to live up to your "biblical canon" whatever it may be because then you can show the world your religion and they can judge what they think is right...

Jesus got here to fulfill the previous testomony, Isaiah, Psalms and each and all of the foremost and Minor Prophets. He and His disciples attended synagogue! Jesus risk-free Gentiles Hebrews 11, something classic Jews did no longer renowned. He proclaimed the Spirit of the regulation no longer the Traditions of the regulation and extra One to love one yet another... Matthew 4, Acts a million, 2 and 10. Joel 2, Revelation Chapters 4 & 21.

If we start chucking people out of church for not being perfect, there would be no one left in church. No religion has perfect members, we're humans after all. St Paul, who wrote the letter to the Corinthians, was a little too judgemental. Jesus said that all we had to do was to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and might and love our neighbors as ourselves and on these two hang all the laws and the prophets. For me, this means helping people not throwing them out because I don't like how they're living.

You asked if my religion is living up to all the bible commandments? No it is not, and never will do. My faith came thousands of years before christianity...it is a free faith and is not and never will be christian dominated or owned. And i would hate to become a christian.....they have no spiritual sight.

Um, that we are to rebuke and alert others to their sins, as well as look after our own. Simple question. Impenitence is a serious condition. Believe it or not.

Interesting, that you think the RELIGION should live up to the commandments, rather than the people who follow it.

Is YOUR religion living up to the Vedas? The Koran? How about the Upanishads? Any principles from Tao Te Ching it's been applying?
There is no reason why I should be "living up to" the Bible any more than you should be "living up to" any of the other religion canons of the world.
