Well, not ALL...but certainly the more judgmental (especially misogynistic) ones ought to.

Uh - perhaps it's because Paul didn't die on the cross for our sins?

Or have you never bothered to even READ the gospels?

Jesus made it very clear by his actions and his words who he thought he was.

When you look at everything he said, you could possibly conclude that he was deluded. But when you look at everything he did, he was the most sane, loving man who ever walked the face of this planet.

So, let's quit patronizing him by saying he was merely a "good" man. Either he was who he claimed to be, the Son of God, or he was a lunatic on the same level as someone who thinks he's a poached egg! (C.S. Lewis)

If you reject the writings of Paul, then you reject the Bible. If you reject the Bible, then where are you getting your information? You need to quit reading trashy liberal books that try to rewrite Christianity, and read the Bible through the eyes of faith a little more.

I guess you never read Peter, John, James or Jude. They all agreed with Paul and basically say the same things Paul says.

Paul simply expounded on what Jesus taught. Often times, words from the Gospels and repeated in Epistles.

Paul would not want that.
He always directed attention to the Christ.
"Become imitators of me, even as I am of Christ."
1 Corinthians 11:1

Wouldn't that also make us Peterians and Johnians and Jamesians and Whoever wrote Hebrewsians? If you are implying that Christians only follow the epistles, I do not agree --- not that it really matters, since scripture always agrees with itself. Regardless of whether I agree or not, though please do keep in mind that there *are* other epistles that Christians also follow, not written by Paul.

Good idea, except even Paul confuses himself, for instance when he says women can speak in church as long as their heads are covered, and then 3 chapters later says they can't speak in church at all.

Paul never met Jesus, and didn't quote his words directly or refer to the events of his life. His "authority" was based on a vision he claimed to have--so, if you don't believe Joseph Smith, why do you believe Paul?

At least the Mormons are consistent!

Paul only carried the message - Jesus is the one that true Christians follow!

Paul didn't ask any one to follow "him" but all who profess Christ as their Savior to follow JESUS with their crosses.

God Bless You
