el niño means the boy (or the boy-child)

El Niño means a weather system, or can refer to the Christ Child, or a golfer (Sergio Garcia) or a football player (Fernando Torres), or an oratorio by John Adams.

El Nino doesn't mean anything, at least not in Spanish.

assuming that you mean "EL NIÑO", literally "the boy" is the name that was given to the weather effects that caused some hurricanes all over the world some years ago.
