yes I hate it when Pakistan, India and other South Asian countries blindly imitate the west... why? is it because we are begging the world & America is giving us alms?

I agree that there re a lot of Asian people who work hard and earn a living in USA, but I can't believe that they are the reason that we are blindly aping Western culture

You would not like to find out how life would by without Americans. The Indian economy thrives because of the United States!! Many U.S companies use India because the workday is exactly oposite from the U.S. When we leave our jobs in the afternoon, companies in India are just starting their workday. This is why when you call customer support after work hours you will almost always end up talking to a person stationed in India. The world economy would be nothing without Americans.

American companies and Multinational companies invested huge amount in Indian Share Market. Also Indian Banks & companies invested in American market, so when American economy goes down it will affect Indian economy in both the ways.

In the 1990's India was testing nuclear weapons near the border of Pakistan, who was also testing nukes of their own. They step over their beggars in the street, spending much cash to proliferate.

The problem with their seeking to amass nuclear weapons is their total disregard for their own overpopulation problems. India's religion/s are against birth control, hence, in a few short years they will surpass China and become the most populated country on the planet. This is NOTHING to brag about! It's shameful ignorance.

Do realize that American Dollar$ are flowing into that country like the Ganges River, second only to the UK.

India is in big trouble. Their government is corrupt and the people's needs are never met. They have two classes--rich and poor. They would all leave in a heartbeat, if they could.

My first college roommate was bribed into marriage with $20K from an Indian student so he would not have to go back to India once his student visa expired. Like a fool, she married him and it's only a matter of time before they're caught in immigration fraud.

In the 20th Century, America became an economic juggernaut - though it's in decline, now, it's still the largest economy in the world, thus the most profitable market to sell to. Thus, India, and, indeed, the whole world, is focused on catering to - and, ironically, in the process, destroying - the American economy.

i don't understand why many indians ( even though its a minority) hate America...whats wrong with America...we are only thinking of the negative aspects....if America was not there world history might have been different...they saved the world from the mad man Hitler...they saved the world from the communists..they are saving the world from terrorism..the progress of many countries in the middle east are just due to the invlovment of America......majority of the united nations funding comes from USA.(the money from us tax payers)....consider the contributions they made to science, technology, touching every aspects of our life.. America always propagates democracy and individual freedoms. consider the financial and non financial aid they are giving to poor countries...how many Indians are working in USA...every body talks about human rights violations by USA....What about the human rights violations by China,Russia and middle east countries.....every body is intentionally avoiding such questions..... it is a fact that America is a super power....we should admit that fact...i am very sad to say that India's foreign policy was totally wrong...from the time we get independence we supported Russia and the communist block in the name of Non alignment movement...we try to keep away from America.....America helped countries like south Korea, japan and Germany in their economic development ....the so called anti Americans in India have a problem only when we conduct a military exercise with America...but what about the military exercises with Russia...they don't have any problem....the development for India now is due to pro American policy after the 1990s...American companies are making immense foreign investment in India..just because of these investments millions of people are getting employment .....its unfair to keep a blind eye on all the facts....the fact is that if we were obsessed to America just after the independence our situation might have been much better.....its better to be late than never at all....its better for India to make a closer relationship with America...if we attract their investment both America and India will get benefit...we should have a foreign policy that maintains good relationship with USA without infringing our sovereign rights...
