I reside in kent, UK and licensed. Gun shops tend to want top money due to second hand guns being commission sales.

Dan....It's considered a Yahoo Answers violation of Community Guidelines to use Answers as a "classified" add to purchase anything. That might in fact be the reason your prior question was removed. Giving Firearms Appraisals is allowed and a common thing here on Answers. Posting want adds is not.........

You can't go wrong wiyh either one. I would handle both and choose which ever fits you the best.
