my fiance and i are trying to come up with a good first dance song... the problem is..
hes a drummer, hes in a band, hes not into country love songs ..ya get what im saying.. we need a good slow dance song thats got a rock-edge to it but is about love and doesnt sound like we're at a concert haha
any ideas???

Go with an oldie then. We danced to BB King Stand By Me. My husband isn't into country (neither am I) or sappy love songs but he does appreciate the musicians of the past. He also liked Jackson 5 I'll be there. We had Crash by Dave Matthews on our wedding video. Whatever you decide make sure it's a song you have liked for a very long time and won't hate in a few years. You want to look back with fond memories that the music can evoke.

There are CDs of rock love ballads, they would be your easiest pick to find something. Nearly every band has at least one song that could be considered a love song.
Anyways, you two can still dance slowly together even if the song is fast.

I'm the "rock" type too but I'm NOT gothic and I don't wear all black! And I hate HotTopic. And no, don't act like you're gothic. HUGE turnoff for me and 75% of the guys out there.
