Or better yet, HOW can it possible be construed as such. The first Christians were Jews who were looking for a messiah. Maybe all Jews don't or didn't, I don't know. But it defies logic to assume that the terms "Perfected Jew" or "Completed Jew" somehow imply that Jews are imperfect or uncomplete any more or any less than a Christian might view ANYONE who is not a Christian as such.

These terms have nothing to do with being Jewish and everything to do with being a Christian. Its just another ad hominem attack against Christians via attacking loudmouth with a spotlight and a newspaper column.

Ann Coulter is not anti-semitic. Her statements were an expression of normative christianity as its been since its inception. If one listens to the entire exchange between Ms. Coulter and Donnie Deutsch, one will realize that Mr. Deutsch was baiting her and Ms. Coulter was insulting Deustsch, except he was too dumb to realize it.

As a Jew, I wish I had a dollar for every time some christian told me that I was going to hell for not accepting Jesus. I'd be rich. Ms. Coulter did not say any such thing and even went on to stress how, for christianity to stand, judaism must be true......these are not the words of an anti-semite.

But even if she did, and many christians do, state that non-christians go to hell....my response to them is two-fold.

1) If what you say is true, then hell must be a pretty nice place if it's full of people like me....

and

2) I am completely unconcerned what someone tells me God will do to me in the name of their religion.....however, I am terrified by what someone says THEY will do to me in the name of their God.

You say " But it defies logic to assume that the terms "Perfected Jew" or "Completed Jew" somehow imply that Jews are imperfect or uncomplete"

That's exactly what it sounds like it means to me your logic is not very solid here. By the way the word is "incomplete" not uncomlplete.

Because it spewed from that hellmouth.

To imply that the only good Jew is a Christian by conversion(thereby perfected) is completely anti-Semitic.

Oh if only we could remember we are all human beings the same. But then Ann would still be a freaking succubus!

Because Jews don't see themselves as incomplete. I can imagine hating Christianity if I were a Jew because of the way Jesus broke many Jewish laws and made Jews feel that all their ardent obedience of God's commands was for nothing. So many people had died for disloyalty. Had they died for nothing?

That women is so stupid and rude. I can't listen to her because I know I'm going to be really mad if I do. I wish she would just go back under her rock. Oh well, these are the people we love as a society.

It is EXACTLY logic that says that if a Christian is a perfected Jew, then a non-Christian Jew is "imperfect" How in the world do you say that it DEFIES logic???

Ann Coulter said that Jews were sub-Christians. Whether you believe that or not, whether it is true or not, it is anti-semitic and bigotted.

I personally think that Ann Coulter is subhuman, but that is not based upon a preconceived notion, it is based upon her statements and bigotry.

I dont consider it to be anti-semitic I simply consider it to be idiotic and of poor taste.

The better question is if her view of America is a nation of only Christians dose that mean she views Jews and other non-Christians as some how less American.

If Christians think I am going to hell for not accepting their theology I could care less, as long as they are not willing to speed up the process.

its not anti-semitic. after all, everybody also knows that muslims are perfected christians and that mohammed is the fulfillment of christianity. there's nothing anti-christian about that, its just what i believe.

Personally not offended for three reasons:
1. I realize that all religious fundies are loony.
2. She's very good-looking, even if she is nuts.
3. Mr. Donny was baiting her outrageously.

You need to read the transcript of that entire segment of the show in order to get a sense of how badly Deutsch [the program's host] seemed to want to misunderstand Coulter and rejoice in taking offence.
