I'm sorry you had to go through this, it's not fair. It happens more and more-companies do not want to invest in training and mentoring. The best you can do now is chalk it up to a life lesson. You could try to speak with them to reconsider and give you a non management job if you'd like that. Part of the lesson may be that the next time you are offered a job where you have to stretch, you do not accept it without receiving assurances that you will get the time and training you need.

Did you vocalize to them that you were rushed into the position at any time and that you still needed training? You should just let it go and move on. You can use the experience they gave you and hopefully find a better job that will help you to succeed instead of just throwing you out there to fail. good luck
