Have you searched for scholarships actually offered by your school? When I was applying for college (and scholarships) a couple of years ago I didn't have very good luck getting scholarships from outside sources. They all came from the school I was applying to. All the different schools at my university (School of Nursing, School of Business, etc) each have a person who students can talk to about this kind of thing. You should start sending emails and call some people to find out who this person is - and schedule a meeting with him. There are probably lots of scholarhips offered through the school that you just have to ask about to find. Good luck!!

This is sad. :0( Just saying even if someone did have these feelings at times I don't think they would admit it. That is a hard thing to admit. I had my first when I was very young and single. I love him very much and wouldn't give him up for the world. He is now 14. I have to be honest though there are times when I wonder if I had chose adoption would it have been better for him. I think he gets jealous because, I had him before I got married. So he picks on his younger siblings a lot. Sometimes it gets really hard. Also my son tries his best in school and all but, my daughter gets better grades. That is hard on him. There are just so many little things that are hard for him I wonder if I did what is best for him. I really should have put more thought into what would have been best for him. I really didn't think about how will getting married and having other children affect him. I mean I did think about how it would affect him and I made sure to marry someone who loved him as their own and makes a good living. I just didn't consider how having future children would affect him. Anyway what is done is done. I will just be the best mom I can be for all my kids and pray that things are okay in the end. I love them all the same but, since he is in high school we really have to keep tabs on his grades and I know he feels we are picking on him. We aren't though everything we do is out of love. :0(

No, I haven't heard for scholarships for any of those things. Being a single mom you could probably get a grant.

Try a Pell Grant. It's federally funded and non-competitive. Also talk to the financial aid folks at your school. They'll know what you're elligable for. Being a single mom will prolly work in your favor but you're on your own w/ the lefty thing. Sorry, southpaw isn't considered a disability any more. ;)

check with your university. Many of them have scholarships funded by alumni that are for particular majors.
