My daughter will be turning 15 but I am not ready to let her start going out on dates just yet.
Sure she goes to the movies with her girlfriends and they go the the amusment park. I'm human I'm sure they meet the boys there. But I drop her off I pick her up.
If she is not where she is supposed to be at that certain time then she knows she will not be allowed to go again.
I'll let her go on a "date" when she is 17. I was 17 when I had my first boyfriend and I turned out just fine.

Never! I have him trained to believe girls are the devil! Seriously I do but I guess I'll let go if he shows maturity at age 16.

Sixteen seems appropriate. He/she will be old enough to drive, work, and go on dates.
