No. I think they are products of truth deprivation. Some of them study and research, eventually discovering the truth of the Catholic Church. Others simply believe what others tell them and are content with unverified information, most of which is false.

I think if you look far enough back in your family history...I'd be willing to bet that most of us are products of first cousins marrying...
That's not meant as a jab...that's just how it is....it was common practice back in the day......
And speaking of first cousins marrying....it's not illegal....not in the US anyway.....
