Yes that is enough. If you look at this website it will tell you how many calories you need depending on your activity level. http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.html

I think you are doing ok with 1700 calories - because at 5ft 8' & 110lbs you really dont need to lose any weight.

Just make sure you get the vitamins & minerals you need, preferably through fruit & veg - but you can take vitamin tabs to topup if you need to.

Oh, and it never hurts to do a bit of exercise - just to keep your muscles toned if not for anything else.

Multiply your bodyweight {in pounds} by one of the following to get your RMR [resting metabolic rate]. This is the rate at which you burn calories even if you were in a coma.

x11 if you have a low metabolism
x12 if you have an average metabolism
x13 if you have a fast metabolism

Now add about 500 calories since you are "lightly" active.

If you have an "average" metabolism then you would need to consume 1820cals a day to stay the way you are.

Well from your height and weight your BMI is low not a problem there, on a quick formula without and actual full body fat test you'd need between 1500-1600 for no activity and around 1600-1800 for light activity so you have a good level to maintain your current weight.

There actually is no specific number on a daily scale. To maintain weigth there is only one golden rule:Burn as many calories as you eat. Look it up online:
