because people make up stories, and believe everything they hear from childhood.

God only destroyed the earth once. People in Noah's time were sinning and hard hearted. God had showed them proof of His existance and they still did not listen. He found one man and his family to be faithfull to God. He spared Noah and His family from the flood by telling Noah to build an ark for there will be a great flood. Noah was being mocked by the people this whole time when he was building the ark and he tried to tell them of the flood and God. The people still did not listen.

Yahweh allowed mankind to destroy the world, just as he is allowing it to be destroyed right now.
Who's causing the global warming that is melting the solar ice caps? I (and this is just me) theorize that this was what caused the 1st flood.
When all hope of mankind surviving after the nuclear exchange from the nations, and the sun is darkened, then Yahweh will step in and stop the destruction and enforce His will on mankind to stop the dying and the destruction that comes from breaking Yahweh's Laws.

People 'claim' all sorts of things about god. You are right, according to judeo-christian scripture, 'god' destroyed creation and started over, then there was the flood. The supposition that god is loving is a psychological response. They 'love' him and he 'loves' them, because they are told that is how it is, even though we have lots of evidence to show that their 'god' is anything but loving. Their scripture also states that to FEAR the lord is the beginning of wisdom.
The truth is that judeo-christian religions (including Islam) are built upon fear, guilt and dangling carrots (the promises of a wonderful afterlife). And psychologically you can not love something while under duress (fear/guilt).....unless it is something like the Stockholm syndrome.

What if it wasn't God? What if God and Goddess were busy getting lunch ready for the kids, while the kids were whacked on the meth they got from the schoolyard pusher, all hot and bothered from a whole morning of videos on the Internet of people copulating with babies and animals and started trashing their bedroom in an orgy of sex and violence fuelled insanity? And then told everybody it was their child-beating father that did it? Doesn't that sound a little more Reason-able?

Dear,
God destroy the earth because mankind does not Praise for God. God is Lord of all creation. Mankind like pagans during Prophet Noah's (Noah of Ark) who refuse to Worship God. God Created Mankind. God create the universe and govern the universe. Mankind have incurred Displeasure to God. God has shown the right path through his prophets, but mankind denial. Mankind gone astray. God punish mankind. God is most compassionate and Merciful.

If you lived when God destroyed the earth you would understand why He did it maybe. But he has never abolished the whole human race and continues to be long suffering with us. He will try and save as many people as He can.

yeah that's a good question. you are speaking of the flood? God destroyed the sinners because they did not love him.
What was the second or third time?
there are plenty of god loving people and believers that worship god but dont read the bible that is a christian concept.

God is our creator, Almighty and most high. Think of it like this, We are his children, he gave us rules to live by and promised eternal life in heaven. If you are a parent and your child turns away from you, disobeys, breaks your rules. Do you get angry, do you punish??? Well god is our all loving father in heaven who will reward us for serving him and will judge and punish those of us who dont.
I am a christian, I love Jesus but fear his wrath like I did my father on earth when I was a child. The bible is hard to understand but if you truly want to, I suggest "pray and ask Jesus to show you before you begin to read his word."

God made something he thought also to be loving and kind. He knew other wise and it grieved him. yet he saved a remnant. Noah and his kin.
He gave us Jesus that brought salvation as a gift. But right now you are looking at yourself and not God. For we never thank him, but we always what to condemn him when we can not have our way. God made the rules to save us,yet we do not want to be saved.

atom bombs are not a good idea... neither is the idea of them. When you give people free will and ALL dream of atom bombs and proceed to build them.... I guess the only thing left to do to preserve what is in the line of fire of that bomb is to destroy the creator.... man or demon! therefore no more bombs.... figuratively speaking.
