I just picked up a 1964 dodge dart 270 from a estate sale for not a lot of money. It has a 273 c.i.d. factory engine. everything on it is original and works. Even came complete with working a.m. radio, and all dart manuals and repair receipts. Runs perfect.. have you ever seen 1 of these?

I've seen a number of them. Nice Score. That would be a 2bbl car. Hopefully you got lucky and have either a 4-speed or a push-button automatic.

I have a '65 Dart GT convertible 4 speed car with a 273 4bbl in it.

Actually, it's a 273.5 cid V-8. It was the largest factory 8 for a Dart offered as an option that year. bore x stroke = 3.63 x 3.31. Reasonably rare now, the Dodge boys produced 66,069 Dart 270's that year in four body configurations. Only 7,097 had the V-8 factory installed. They retailed from $2100 to $2600 depending on options. If it's in good shape, it's worth restoring. The 2-door convertible coupe being worth the most restored.

Yes. It should be worth a bucks as well 273 power packs are few and far between, it has a short stroke like the 340. Are you sure it is a dart or dart/valiant.

wow - not sure what "some body work" means Is the 273 a 273 commando? (4 barrel high performance?) Is it a 4 speed car? Is it a 2 or 4 door?
