Fanatics and Yahoo! find the best answers and questions to be violations for the mere act of disagreeing with them?
I've seen this happen two times today. Neither was offensive.
The first was in P&S, someone asked if she should shave the yamster and tattoo him, and what the tattoo should be. I responded she should tattoo the words "Report This," and her question was subsequently deleted. The other was an answer to a question I posted. The answer was that the chicken crossed the road to get away from the fundies. I was going to give her best answer for humor.
I put this in R&S because it happens here A LOT.
If someone is offended by either of those, they have deeper issues than they realize. Who thinks Yahoo! and fanatics need to get over themselves?

Just happened to me.....rec'd 20 good responses to what I thought was a decent question. Wasn't lewd or offensive and some of the answers were hilarious. I was violated and now I await my appeal.
I thought this was supposed to be entertainment?
Now, I do agree there are some offensive questions and answers, but................

Yes,it happens all the time.The so called Christians cannot torture us or burn us at the stake like they did for 1600 years for not believing in Goldilocks...I mean the bible.The best they can do at what they are so famous for,brutally repressing the truth,is to report abuse.the system is broken.There should be no "report abuse" button altogether.Somehow,they feel they are doing gods work by repressing alternative views.Misguided Christians,I feel sad.I don't believe in god myself.But the poseur Christians here are so far from the message of Jesus,love,compassion,tolerance,and god loves everyone.Yet they try to silence us,remove us,Wait in gleeful anticipation of the smell of our flesh burning.They are no Christians,if there is a god and Satan,the ones here certainly are following Satan.The message they give doesn't match the message of Jesus in the slightest.Poor people,already cheating themselves out of an education by rejecting all science(except computers,which they find quite handy as a tool to spread the message that science is false)Then,on top of that,not following Jesus at all.I am atheist,I walk circles around them,act more christian than their hateful hearts could ever conceive of.They call me "lost" how ironic.Jesus would "vomit them out of his mouth"That's it,from now on,I'm Christian.Seems the "Christians"don't do a good job at all.HEY EVERYBODY,god isn't sending anyone to hell,he loves you!!

I'm thinking of reporting Yahoo... their Yamster gives me horrifying flashbacks to my childhood when I had 2 hamsters (not at the same time) and the second died of wet tail. Think I'd get far w/ that one?

Personally I would do away with the report button all together and introduce some sort of age verification so that we knew only adults were here.
I have no objection to what kids say but sometimes this is not a suitable place for them..

People who answer only for points. People who answer with mud-slinging profanity (there are young people here!). Those are the reasons i will hit the button. Disagreement is what this place is all about and is NOT a reason to report.

I got reported recently for asking someone to cite the literary reference that they were referring to in thier question.

Yeah, it's an unfair system where ignorant and intolerant imbeciles and trolls are allowed to rule.
I have already lost 2 accounts because of it.

I feel you rebecca........many of my answers have come back simply because i didnt "jock" the persons question............thats irritating as he.......I have received plenty of answers that I thought were pretty rude but what would being a "tattletail" do.........its bnot that serious and we all have opinions....I just laugh at it myself.........dont even worry about it........but it does kinda suck........I know what you mean
