You are correct that by far the majority of scientist who are actual experts in the science of climate do not believe that climate change is cause by people.

There is a larger groups of those with college degrees who do believe that people have cause the current trends in climate change but this is inclusive of those who educated in areas that have nothing to do with climate. Their opinions are worth about as much as someone in the entertainment industry.

Looks like you've been lied to by a global warming skeptic. Don't worry, you're certainly not the first and you won't be the last person they lie to.

I would suggest that you ask your source to provide you with a credible link - but don't waste your breath, they can't.

You'll find that in many cases skeptics can't refute the science of global warming and don't even attempt to. Instead they turn their attention to the likes of Al Gore, individual scientists, the government; anything really other than the science itself. This is yet another example of that tactic.

Scientists are not stupid people, that's why overwhelmingly they agree that humans are contributing to global warming. To claim otherwise flies in the face of some very simple physical scientific laws, you might as well deny that gravity exists.

There's a very dubious petition doing the rounds which every scientist is only too well aware of. Any scientists can sign it to show that they do not support the theory of manmade global warming. There are 60 million scientists in the world, there are 18,000 names on the petition, that's 0.03%. That 18,000 includes many people who were 'duped' into signing the petition and several thousand bogus names including the names of the Spice Girls several times over.

Global warming is absolutely NOT caused by humans. The Earth is very cyclical and goes through periods of ice house and green house. It just so happens that the Earth is transitioning from ice house to green house. There are a few naturally occurring factors in this. The majority of scientists do not believe that humans are causing global warming, the media has brainwashed the majority of people into believing this though. Why don't we worry about feeding the starving people of the world instead of the average temperature raising 2 degrees in the next 100 years?

Of course not. The sun is vastly more responsible of temperatures on earth than anything else.

Consensus of belief doesn't entale "proof" of anything. Are scientist human? Are they without opinion or agenda?

Most of the great minds thought the world was flat or that the sun went around the earth. Was it fact? Yes. Was it true? NO. Did the science eventually change? Yes.

People tend to put blind faith in science. But we should never be afraid to disagree or question the science.

Time will prove that the current scientific belief that humans are mainly responsible for GW is false.

basically an fyi. maximum do no longer examine with it as international Warming anymore. because of the fact the components quite refused to regulate to their fashions this is now referred to as climate replace and is used to describe any aberration. Now in answer on your question. I do have faith that people are to blame for pollution. I do have faith pollution is undesirable and that we could constantly make each and every attempt to cut back this consequence on each and every occasion accessible. the real question is do people produce a internet consequence intense sufficient to alter the components severely? My concept is that the Earth has long previous by those classes of climate replace for the period of this is history without a globalized business complicated. So at the same time as we do harm the ecosystem i do no longer think we are changing the components. Does it rather matter quantity the two way? no count if we are changing the planet or no longer we could constantly nevertheless all try to do our area for the ecosystem for the sake of our very own wellbeing and wellbeing. If the planet reward from this then we get a double benefit. although, we must additionally be cognizant of what constitutes useful demands in this area because of the fact we can harm our economies and dramatically cut back high quality of life ordinarily if we circulate overboard.

Wouldn't that be nice?

But really, you should look at the latest issue of Time magazine. It's a special issue and has a polar bear standing on and staring at its shrinking home of polar ice. This issue of Time magazine gives you a lot of cold hard facts about global warming and what can be done about it.

Global warming is real, and you should learn about it.
Maybe you're confused - the majority of scientists still think that global warming is caused in a large way by humans - but some have also recently said that it may be too late to do anything about it.

p. s. ,
I'm really glad my fellow global warming believers have done all the typing for me on this particular question, I was getting tired of repeating the same answer to the same question.

Most all scientists believe global warming is due to nature and mankinds activities. Many scientists do not believe the pollution from mankind is as significant as others do. There is a lot of evidence for both theories.

It seems like as time goes by, more and more are at least questioning the accuracy of the now commonly accepted theory that CO2 is the cause. We may find it is man, but an entirely different reason. We will see in time.

Yes, Humans are responsible for Global warming. We emit too much Carbon Dioxide that it causes the heat from the sun to be trapped within the earth's atmosphere.

NO I do not. Whatever misleading propaganda certain scientists may be getting paid enormous amounts to try to baffle everybody into believing humans are solely responsible, the indisputable truth happens to be that cyclonic warming and cooling of the planet earth has actually been happening. and in more extreme form than currently, for millions of years before the first human being ever existed on earth.

I would like to know who went around and asked all of the scientists these questions to determine that a majority of them believe. Which scientists were asked and what exactly were they asked to comment on? It seems there is a lot of disagreement and both sides of the argument often claim to have a majority of the scientists on their side.
