I'm not sure if it makes sense or. We had to write an anecdote of some sort for our Spanish 102 class, then switch papers and make corrections to someone else's paper and I recieved and anecdote from a girl who wrote this:

Un día que andaba por el patio del edificio que utilizo para trabajar en y vi un andar asiático alto de tipo por el patio también. El no molestó mirarme ni decir hola tan pensé que él fue atascado arriba y vanidoso porque soy reconocido generalmente cuando alguien me ve. Mi mejor amigo trabajó conmigo en el tiempo y me había dicho que ese tipo asiático había estado preguntando por mí. Venga a averiguar que él hacía preguntas acerca de mí y mostró un interés pequeño. Una noche cuando fui workig tarde, mi mejor amigo algún cómo logró conseguir el tipo asiático para introducirse. Así que él vino a mi oficina y se introdujo. Averigüé que él pensaba también que fui atascado arriba y vanidoso porque anduve con la cabeza arriba tan alto y que yo no molesté decir hola a él cuando yo lo vi. Esa cosa común nosotros habíamos empezado una relación que ha estado pasando ahora para dos y un medios años.

Embaldose este día que bromeamos todavía acerca de cómo nosotros no podemos creer que estemos con el atascado arriba persona vanidosa que vimos en el patio.

Excuse you, you are NOT my teacher! I am taking an advanced spanish class and if the teacher was actually teaching me something then I would be on here asking this question. I learned more in my 101 class than I am in this advance class so screw you! Quizzes are class participation and Test/Exams are homework from the night before. So please do not criticize my lack of knowledge in the Spanish language if I am not learning what I am supposed to be taught!

Actually my homework wasn't to translate into English. I just wanted to know what it meant so that I can make adjustments to it in Spanish. I didn't understand some of the words/ conjugated words she used.

One day I was walking around the patio of the building that I used for work and saw a tall Asian out there as well. He didn't bother to look at me or say hello so I thought he was stuck up and full of himself because people generally recognize me when they see me. My best friend worked with me at the time and had told me about this Asian guy who had been asking about me. I came to figure out that he was the once who had been asking about me, and he showed a little interest. One night when I was working late, my best friend somehow managed to find this Asian guy and got him to introduce himself. So he came to my office and introduced himself. I guess that he thought I was stuck up and full of myself because I walked around with my nose in the air and I couldn't be bothered to say hello when I saw him. This common thread has led us into a relationship of 2 and a half years. We still joke about the way we thought of each other as stuck up and full of ourselves.
