Let's not misinterpret the scriptures to prop up a misguided religion.

False reasoning my friend. Before Jesus the Jews made blood sacrifices as atonement for their sins, without which they could never be forgiven. This was a covenant made by God with the nation of Israel so that they would be acceptable in his sight. God put this covenant in place so that he could 'forgive their error, and their sin (I) will remember no more' (Isaiah 31:34. Jesus provided an everlasting blood sacrifice through which, if we believe and accept we are forgiven; Hebrews 10:12 'But this man offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually.' Jesus brought about a new covenant that all mankind could benefit by, Mathew 26:28 'for this mean my blood of the covenant , which is to be poured out on behalf of many for forgiveness of sins'. Jesus replaced the literal sacrificial lamb that was offered up by the Jews; John 1:29 'See, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world' True, every man shall be put to death for his own sins because 'the wages sin pays is death' (Romans 6:23) and as we are all genetically sinners because we have inherited sin from Adam, we all die; (Romans 5:12) However, by putting faith in this everlasting sacrifice we too have our sins covered over (Psalm 32:1) However, 'if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left' (Heb. 10:26) In this sense 'the soul that sinneth, it shall die.' So, I am afraid that your assumption that scripture is misinterpreted is the thing that is misguided.

What i detect a laugh is the Christian assertion that Jesus is the "lamb" of the sacrifcie for the Korban Chatas (atonement sacrifice). Whats humorous approximately that? straight forward the Korban Chatas diverse in accordance to the persons prestige: Kohen Gadol (intense Priest) - A bull Nasi (King/Prince/Noble) - a male goat Hedyot (all and sundry else) - a woman goat or lady sheep. For a Hedyot that would desire to no longer locate the money for the female goat or lady sheep- a dove or pigeon, in the event that they won't locate the money for that- the a korban orlah (a mix of flour and wine) Now, what's lacking? What they declare Jesus to be- a lamd used for a Korban Chatas! Its laughable- the only component that became into by no potential used for a Korban is what they declare him to be! On actual of that they use yet another component- human sacrifice, it quite is thoroughly forbidden in Judaism as so graphicly regular with Abraham and the basically approximately sacrifice of Isaac.

Yes, the person who commits sin must die, for the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). We all knew that.
But God established the sacrificial system in the Old Testament for the substituitory death, that is that an animal would die for the sinner. Jesus is the Lamb of God, the sacrifice that was made forever.

Jesus came to take away our sins and to give us a chance to gain God's grace.
In all actuality the person did not take his own punishment anyway. In those days one had to offer up a sacrifice that had to be foundworthy and blessed by a preist who would them burn that offering to gain forgiveness or attonement. After Jesus died on the cross, the altar was broken in half and the veil was rent which rendered any intermediary obsolete. No more do we have to offer blood sacrifice as Jesus did that himself.

So as not to violate those verses you mentioned, God created a new man, Jesus as the head and the church His body. Jesus is the savior of the body, anyone who enters the body shall be save from punishment, since the head shall answer for the body, the church, the Church of Christ!

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Now that you know we all should have punishment(hell) comming let me tell you about the love of God!
"...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. "Romans 6:23

You see God sent hes son(Jesus Christ) so that we do not have to pay the price for the sins that we have done. Jesus payed the price for us.

All you have to do is call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved..
Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

"If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, simply bow your head and humbly:

1. Admit to God that you are a sinner.
2. Tell Him you believe Jesus died for you.
3. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and save your soul.
4. Then believe that He promised to save you.
"

John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

That was God's law in the Old Testament of the Hebrew People, but Jesus said he came to fulfill the law AND wash away the sins of the world.

That is not misinterpretation but fulfillment of old testament prophecies in books like Isaiah, etc.

Let's not advance criticisms before we study and know what we are talking about.

There are many reasons people might reject Christianity or accept it, but scriptures 4000 years apart are not among them.

Just as in the old testament they were to offer a sacrifice for their sin, Jesus became the sacrifice for the sin of the world.

That was before the perfect person, Jesus paid the price for all sin. A person even now has to receive consequences for his deeds, but He cant atone for them, only Jesus can get you forgiven.
