Dear,
God's name is not the 'ONLY' name. Its a must for every Muslims to know God's name. The saying said "You don't" is not true.
There are Asmaa'ul Husna 99 Beautiful Names of ALLAH. ALLAH, there is no god but him. The Most Beautiful Names are His. He is Allah. The Creator, the Maker, and the Giver of Form. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him. He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.

Every creature knows its creator including a camel and your teacher. Jesus said that every animal knows its master but you (Jews and prospective Christians) don't know ....the son of man?
Read the Bible and you will find that Jesus is crying Elah, Elah on the cross. Ask your teacher about this Aramaic word "Elah" and its equallant in Arabic language is ALLAH ! A unique name of our unique God worshipped by Adam, Novah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (Peace be upon them all).
