I think Bush is actively seeking to sustain the kind of denial that he's been in for decades. "If you believe everything is going just fine in Iraq, it must be true," is Bush's approach to everything.
I think Bush cares more about proving he's right than anything else. He's like a petulant child.

I do not think 'actively' is the word to describe his actions; the man has no idea what he's doing.
However, that being said, floundering like a blind man through such delicate matters (LIKE IRAQ) could lead to the same, unfortunate conclusion.
I believe My Bush's definition of 'foreign policies' translates as 'stuff what not to do with America'. Enough said.
Tragically, I live in one of those not-America countries. Help?

Not sure on the first point, but given his ignorance and blind faith, it is entirely possible. And entirely sad.
I can't blame bush alone, the american people voted this moron into office and at least half of them are responsible for their actions in the polling booth. The best solution is to vote someone in who is the opposite of bush, that is to say:
smart,
open to more than one view,
not a fundie religious nut,
believes that the US isn't the only country in the world and screw the rest,
believes the environment is something to be concerned about and not something to exploit at all costs.

LOL what Bush has done is no where near Armageddon. I think you're being a tad overly dramatic. I do think that our troops should have been called home quite some time ago. There's nothing we can do over there that hasn't already been done - whether it was successful or not. To leave our troops over there day after day - it's suicide.
Where I was once a Bush supporter, I am no longer.
But Armageddon? Come on - you don't really believe that, do you?

I try not to think about that too much. I mean, no, I don't think hge is trying "Bring on Armageddon" but I wouldn't put it past him to try to "Fulfill Biblical Prophecy," which is, of course, Armageddon. It's easier, and more comforting, to just assume he's an idiot. That doesn't make it so, I know, but this is one of the few areas where I feel I must take the ostrich approach to preserve my sanity.

One thing I have learned from all of these Bush haters is that there sure is no cure for stupid. Ill-informed, undereducated, uneducated and even ignorant can all be cured. One only needs to present the facts in a comprehensible way and they all have their own Epiphanies and the light goes on for them.
Then they cry out "Erika...I understand!!!", but not stupid...the facts keep getting in the way.
My ONLY complaint of our President and Commander in Chief is that he waited so long before using his veto stamp!
THE Democrook Hippocrates that raised that cap on poor kids health care to families making $82,000 a year is just one example of what Hillary has in store for us.

Okay, first of all, it's spelled "reckless." Second of all, it would explain a lot if that were true.

He could just be an idiot.
He's either an idiot who truly believes the crap he spews, or he's a genius who knows how to spew the crap that idiots will vote for.

This is ignorant. If our public school system had not failed you so miserably, you would be able to understand that AMERICA is not he reason for this war.
Evidently if you would have been in office during 911, you have huddled in the corner and sucked your thumb. (A respone must of your ignorant liberal friends would have taken)

No, but if Bush wasn't a fundamentalist then we may well have not invaded Iraq. Remember:"God told me to".
Unforgivable.
