I don't believe it really happened, maybe it was just inspired by a very bad flood. And I don't believe "having faith" means believing all the stories in the bible are true! For instance, if you believe Adam and Eve were the first people and they had two sons....where did all the rest of us come from? I think bible stories are supposed to teach us something, and are not to be seen as actual facts.
BTW you made me remember a great joke: all the animals are standing in line two-by-two waiting to climb onto the Ark. Suddenly the two elephants turn around, glare at the two little ants standing behind them and yell "Will you quit shoving back there?!"

A global flood never happened.
Is there truth in the story, absolutely!
Having faith in God does not mean blindly believing things against all evidence. It means being faithful to God. Which, is the point of the Noah myth as well.

Why it most certainly did. If this had not taken place. None of us would be here now. God told His Angels, "Do not go down to Earth and marry the women" They did anyway. He also warned them about leaving Heaven w/o a pass. They broke that Law to. See what Free will does? But our Loving Father does not want a bunch of Robots to order around. He wants People to Worship and love Him for who He is. I like that Picture. How about Columbus's Ships? They where said to be Smaller. That had to be like a Canoe going over a waterfall in rough seas. Mateys. God Bless Ya, Chicago Bob imasinner There is more joy in Jesus in one day. Than there is in the World 365/24/7 I know, I tried them both. Numbers 6:24-26

No I don't. Even if the mountains were shorter then and all the water melted to even cause a world wide flood, Not a single plant (except sea plants) would survive being totally covered in sea water (or any water) for a year. Sea water would have contaminated all the soil for new plant growth for centuries. All the animals that got off the ship would starve. Plus there is absolutely no way that all those animals could fit into one ship. And the mountains could not grow to such heights in less then 5000yrs.

There is historical evidence for a large flood on the Tigress river that is probably the basis for the flood story. Miracle...nope just a story about a guy and a boat full of trade goods that was "enhanced" over thousands of years.

No. There's not enough water on the planet to cover the mountains, there's not enough space on a boat of that size to fit that many animals, there's no evidence of animals migrating from a central point, there's no way specialized animals could have survived an ocean swim from the ark to australia/america, there's also no method of transportation from artic zones to the ark, there's no way carnivorous animals could survive 40 days without animals eating each other, all the freshwater fish would have died, and there's no geological evidence of a worldwide flood.

It is their in the Holy Quran and Bible, and also traced in Hindu Vedas. What is the point in this question! The believers in a Book being Holy agree with each word there in the Holy Book. A mere logic has not changed their belief and faith, ever.

I believe every single word of the bible to be from God. If God can not see that his instructions reach his people the way he intended, then he is not much of a God is he?

I don't know, I find it hard to believe one man built a boat of that size to hold that many animals. And that don't include the food and water to keep them alive. I don't know I have a hard time believe that Noah built an ark to save that many animals. I do belive he might of built a boat to save himself.
