I believe the answer to this question is that it depends.....The only a couple gets, the less important age becomes.
Now, at 17 and a virgin, I feel that you're probably too young for this guy.......and I'm sure, he hanging around to be the first.
Try and find someone to 'grow-up' with for a while. Everyone has these people in their lives that helps them transition through different stages of life and you should find one that's going through it as well. This guy has 'been there, done that'.....you'll find yourself in the future wishing that you had experienced things differently if you don't.
Good luck to ya!

My grandparents are 20 years apart so I know a little about this. From my experience they dont really understand each other and I think age difference is a main part of that, however they do love each other. So its up to you, if you love him and your of age then you have to be an adult and think about what you want. Just make sure this guy isnt using you and your inexperience because there are guys like that out there. Consider all the good and all the bad and consider if its trully worth your time or not.

If this was like 30 20 years ago i dunno it owuldnt be that i suppose. but I personally worry about that would find interest in a 17 year old. You are in total different stages of life and wow a 17 year old is wayy too immature for a 38 year old. Even if your mature for your age.
i know love has a way with things but i think that he is way too old. for someone that young to be with someone that much older i dunno..one thing pops into mind...daddy issues.

I've never been drawn to dating someone old enough to be my parent, or young enough to be my child. I want someone who will view me more as an equal and will have plenty in common, and be on a similar page in life...those things are less likely when the parties are of vastly differing ages.

That is a little extreme, but not impossible. I would wait a few more years,,, you can stay with him,,, but hold off on going any further for a while. In other words,, no nookie till later.

disgusting. he should have been thrown in jail! he was 1/2 your age plus 4 yrs. now if you are in your 20's that is different. for example i am 6 yrs older than reno. but i wouldn't date him if i was 20. you feel me. we are both way above the adult age, and i look younger actually (smile)

no my boyfriend and i are22yrs apart
but ive known him for seven years
so isay build on friendship first than work your way to something better. You want to get to know the guy better before you give something of yours.
Remember dont let him pressure you, if he loves you he will wait till ur READY NOT HIM
