when is the better time to shop? better deals, better selection of things(high end designers), AND less traffic?

Are you outta your mind?? For real. Neither is a sane time to go. Last year, they opened the Commons at midnight on Thanksgiving day - people were camped outside the stores at TEN AM on Thanksgiving! (And leaving? Easily 2 hours to get to the Thruway - all of 1/2 a mile.) You might find a good deal, but you won't find a good selection because the savages will have picked it over.
If you have to go, 10am on a Wednesday morning - with the exception of the day before Thanksgiving - and you'll pretty much have the place to yourself.

I have been there the day after Thanksgiving....and it is insane.....there is so much traffic just in the parking lot....it took almost an hour just to get a spot. I will never go there again after a holiday. If you do go....get there very very early.
Either day though you will find some good deals. Probably a better selection the day after Thanksgiving .....because everyone is getting gifts for Christmas....good luck!!

Perhaps the BEST time to go shopping at Woodbury after Thanksgiving is during the weekdays 9A - 5P, while the majority of people are at work. At night and during the weekends...it is a ZOO! Though not as bad as it used to be since there is a Wal-Mart and Target not too far away.

Even though it says it's an outlet, you should really be careful about the prices. I have found things cheaper in Macy's or even Target. Before Xmas you'll probably find a better selection; however, after Xmas you'll probably find better deals. Happy Shopping!!

they are closed on thanksgiving so the best day is the day after....the deals are incredible, but traffic is hectic..tips, go with more people, as for all the good deals there are great long lines to get in.....
