Advantage has been tested as safe to use on lactating female dogs and will not harm the puppies. According to there site it will also keep fleas off the puppies from them being next to mom. Don't use flea sprays most of them are not safe for very young puppies and it can and most likely will get on them from mom.
You can try to move the puppies but if that is where she wants them she will likely move them right back

Well u can move then but the reason that ur dog had her puppies there is because thats were the dog feels her puppies are the most safe! so u can move them (if she lets u) but it depends on if she moves them back for saftey! u kno! and i would call the vet and ask about spraying ur dog cuz i wouldnt want to take any chances.

Only breed Healthy, pest free dogs. Should be checked for worms too prior to breeding. Why did you breed??
Don't use anything on mom or pups except what the vet recommends. How old are the puppies? Sometimes if you move them too soon, it upsets mom. She may not take such good care of them or may become overly protective or overly nervous.
To prevent fleas, adding Boax to the carpet shampoo water works pretty well. DON"T put Borax on your dog!

Do not use any chemicals, the puppies can ingest it when suckling and get very sick or die. Until they are no longer nursing, the safest thing you can do is to just bathe mom and pups in a gentle shampoo, like baby shampoo - nothing with flea killing chemicals. It's just something you have to deal with when you have a litter of puppies or kittens in the home, until they are old enough to be treated along with mom.

Call your vet before you do anything to the mom. They have special meds to use for nursing dams. Also clean all the dogs bedding and remove any thing you even suspect has fleas in or on it.
Fleas on newborn pups is dangerous. They can and do suck the life right out of the pups. They can cause the pups to be anemic too. Then they die!
Get on the phone to your vet today.
As far as moving the dam and her pups it should be ok as long as you move her to a very quiet sport in your home where she will not be disturbed. No high traffic area at all. Keep everyone away from her and the pups except you and maybe one other family member. Visitors are not welcome at this time. Makes mom very nervous!
Do Not use Tee Tree oil on her either! Good God people. It will make the pups sick!
Oh just in case your think of using the Zodiac products. Don't use them even on health dogs. They have been linked to sever reactions in dogs of all sizes. Including seizures! It's crap!

You should see the vet and get something safe.. YOu can't put anything on the puppies.. How come you bred a dog that had fleas and didn't take care of the flea problem first.. Fleas can kill puppies...
You can move the puppies, to a nice quiet safe area.

Check with the vet...there are puppy safe flea meds....you can get the animals out of the house and bomb the house with a fogger to kill any fleas that have gone elsewhere in the house as well...they are a pain to get rid of!

Don't spray anything on the dogs. The puppies could ingest the poison and die.

I would not spray the dog for fear of poisoning the pups. Call your vet to see what you can do for the Mommy dog. And yes, you can move the dogs.
