i occasionally still see my ex and i find it a bit akward when she talks about her current boyfriend.I still like her as a friend but i need advice.

It depends on the situation and how you feel. There is no right or wrong answer for this everyone is different sometimes ex's make great friends and sometimes they are just evil. If you want to be her friend then be her friend just tell her you dont want to talk about her boyfriend.

Well, as for me..it's a great idea that you two will both be friends...you just said it a while ago that you like her as a friend....so, why not pursue what you want....i mean it's a really nice idea...and your intention is good, to think...though it's really akward to face her...but as for me..you can rid of that feeling if you will try to be who you are to her not as boyfriend but as a boy friend...base on my experience...it's really not easy to face or to talk to him...but then i try to give jokes so that i can rid of what i'm feeling...and fortunately, it did..and i am so happy now because we became good friends....i mean forget the past....past is past...and just move on with your life...and lastly, it's a nice feeling if your x will be your friend after your relationship....gudluck for that boy!!!

Why would her talking about her bf? You have both moved on it shouldn't matter. I am still friends with a lot of my ex's, they are good friends and I am happy for them if they found someone else. You should be a friend and listen or tell them it bothers you.

I am friend with my ex, too. But I don't talk to her about her current bf. I like to keep it friendly. Tell her don't say things that you can't imagine ur ur ex with some other dude man. Hey ask her for some benefits between friends too hahah

Well its not wrong....ye're not hurting anyone by being friends. If you don't fancy her anymore, then i wouldnt worry bout it 2 much, the awkwardness will go away after a while. Dont tell her bout it tho cos if you do, she might read into it & think you still fancy her. So if you wanna stay friends with her, you'll just av to listen!

Its always better to move on. It'll only end in tears when you get a new girlfriend - the new girl WILL get jealous and keeping on seeing the ex could be holding you back xx

yes,why do you even bother have a girlfriend so that you can telll her your other affairs.. i have a question do you still like her? do you still love her that much? if that so, go and move on start a new life like she did,right? are that kind of a person that ready to take a risk and have a relationship,AGAIN. Get a Grip,man.

It can happen, but it can be really really difficult for all parties involved. I'm still friends to a certain extent with my ex boyfriend but he doesn't like me talking about my current boyfriend. And I don't like my boyfriend talking about his pyscho ex-girlfriend! ha ha!

I've had two serious relationship breakdowns. The most recent one, no we are not friends, mainly because the girl he left me for doesn't allow him to. The first one yes, we are friends. As long as no one gets hurt by it then of course it is ok.
