St. Joseph. He was humble and prayerful enough to recognize God's will and to do it, then he just sorta bowed out of the picture and let Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary have all the limelight. THAT'S true humility.

That's a tough one. I have two. First would be Paul. If someone so bad could be forgiven and end up being such an awesome man for God then there is definitely hope for all of us. Second would be Job. To be afflicted so much and lose everything and still not turn his back on God. His life makes mine look great. What an inspiration he is to us.

Elijah! The prophets of Baal story is awesome. 1 against 400 and the lesser kicks some booty!
Take note Hollywood. There are 1000's of stories already written, all you have to do is produce them.

Jacob--the situations that he gets into, and the ways that he gets out of them are interesting. Not neccesarily a good moral example, but an interesting character, nonetheless. Likewise Peter, with his pendulum swings between devotion and doubt.

I always had a soft spot in my heart for Cain's wife. I mean she comes out of nowhere (literally) and decides to marry this sorry guy who killed his own brother, walks around with a dark cloud following him, has no luck with crops or hunting, and has a disfigured face to boot.
True, there are not alot of choices for her, but that took guts.

I'd say David was. He reminds me so much of myself. I see him as down to earth. He was the man after God's heart although he did some pretty horrible things. It assures me that no matter what i do, God will always forgive me.

little hand maiden. The Great, Noble, (& rich) Namaan has several chapters on him [O.T / N.T.] Alot of it recording his 'deal' with Elisha, whom healed him of leporsy. Much more is wrote on Elisha....But the behind the scenes disiple of faith doesnt even get her name mentioned.
Even as a war slave, this little maiden knew GOD!

David cause it shows that he was a sinner but still believed in God and made his faith strong through God's faithfulness.

I think he had a clear understanding of why Jesus is.
