I've heard of a few bands who pulled it off; specifically Paramore.
But, we've never had any complications when it comes to fighting, and we're all reasonable people. I mean, I just want to know how to comprimise with him so that when we break up, it won't be on bad terms - for the band's sake.

If you know that this relationship is doomed to break up and you are certain that it won't last than don't do it. It will cause complications for everyone involved and it might even spell out the break up of your band. Is it really worth that? The only way if could possibly be worth that is if you really think you and your bassist have a real shot.

yes dating a band member can and will ruin your band dont go there
