Sometimes I think so and other times I wonder; because of how people don't like to change. But, if we are really capable of change; then should we be more accepting of it? What are you thoughts of this truth?

Change comes from within. A person must want to change for them to change. Spirituality plays a vital role in one's desire to change.

Yes but it is rare. Even a women in a abusive relationship gets comfortable. The unknown causes anxiety.which is also uncomfortable. Families do the same. As do communities. and so forth. The larger the group the less likely change can happen. Just for a person to change is difficult. Change often has a lot of consequences. Change of friends, exct. It is like being born again.

All things & all people DO change. Some people however, aren't good at dealing with change & they build up their delusions to hide from the change (e.g. people who don't "dress their age").

I'm a software designer, my job IS change, so I have to embrace change. My Myers-Briggs type is INTJ - I see the world as it CAN BE. So I want change.

My specific personal changes in the last year include quitting drinking & becoming a Buddhist & a vegetarian.

I think they are definatly capable of change (being a person who has changed alot herself)

But I think that we cannot change our actual being, we cannot change the hair color we were born with, we can only change our attitudes and our actions

so I'm half and half

yes, if that change is really desired- or as in the case of religion, they are brainwashed.

that however is forced change.

We are what we are. We learn and we grow or we choose to be destructive and regress. We can not "change" ourselves. We have to be transformed from an outside source.
