I do not agree.
This is the crux of the difference between the Calvinist religions (fundamentalists/evangelicals) and the rest of Christianity.
Calvinists believe that w/o God and His word, the world would be in moral chaos because of how completely degenerate humans are.
Roman Catholics know that since we were created in God's image, we share His knowledge of right and wrong and have the ability to choose the right way if we want to.
So even w/o knowledge of God or the bible, there is That of God in all of us that knows killing, lying, and hypocrisy is wrong.

People usually judge others by what they know of themselves. Obviously you are the type of person who needs the threat of punishment to keep you from doing bad things. The good news is that not everybody is like you!
I don't need the Bible to be moral, but obviously YOU do!

Are you implying that the people of Moses were amoral psychopaths the day before the 10 Commandments were handed down?
Are you implying atheists are morally inferior than those who follow the Bible? I would be happy to provide you with a multitude of examples providing evidence to the contrary.
Morality as we know it predates religion as we know it.
So no, I disagree.

Nope. I do not agree.
Morality is a human invention. Morality is different from time period to time period and is different from location to location.
There are many people who do not believe in any gods, yet they are able to be moral, upstanding people. There are people who 100% believe in a god or gods and are as immoral as you can get.
Also, the bible condones slavery, murder, and hatred. That is not the type of morality that I want to live by.

I do not agree.
Morality is built into humans as part of thr human survival instict. It existed long before the bible was written and also before most of the world have ever even heard of the bible.
And, of course, gods are an invention of the human mind.

Your point is valid, however, I take issue with saying that morality comes from the Bible - it is like you are putting the Bible on par with God. God is THE source, the Bible is one avenue of God's revelation, but it still isn't the source.

You dont need god and you dont need the bible. If you're incapable of being a decent human being on your own then there is no way a god you do not communicate with can help you.

Morality and Ethical behavior are part of ANY social animal group... wolves, dolphins, monkey's. If these "social" species did not have "morals" they would not survive.
Evolution does a very good job of explaining this, as well as why we have religion.
